Happy New Year to all! As we turn the page to 2026, we’re excited to highlight some new features that are currently available or coming soon! Take note, some of the features mentioned here are for Plus Leagues only.
New Feature - Now available
Dues Pay Link Override - This feature allows you to override the Pay link displayed under Dues Requirements on the member home page. This enables you to require a member to complete a form before paying dues. The form can be a member compact, Membership Expectation Agreement, or any form built in the Form Builder. When the member clicks on the Pay link, she will be taken to the form. After submitting the form, she will be taken to the dues payment page. See Directing Members to a Form Before Paying Dues for instructions.

Please refer to the article Member Essentials Plus Development Roadmap for other new features coming to Member Essentials. The team is at work finalizing the development plan for the 2nd half of the League year, and will be adding more new features to the list soon.
Dues Collection for 2026-2027
If you are starting to set up dues for 2026-2027, please review the Dues Management Step by Step guide.
We encourage you to schedule time with one of our support team members to review your dues setup before you make dues collection available to your members. Click here to book a meeting.
If that’s not feasible, please let us know if you would like us to review your setup before you go live by sending an email to MemberEssentials@ajli.org. Please give us at least 5 days to review your setup.
If you have not done so already, we encourage you to activate the credit card fee donation feature, so that members can choose to make an additional donation with dues payments to cover your credit card fees. Please see > Credit Card Fee Donation Feature
Member Requirements
In the Query Tool, there are a couple of reports which can help with the management of requirement fulfillment credits.
- The report "Requirements - Registration Tool and Event Rules" will show all registration tools/calendars, and individual events, that have credit rules configured. The Rule Type column will indicate if the rule is configured in the registration tool, or in an individual event. Note, rules configured in a individual event override a rule configured at the registration tool. This can be used in conjunction with the report "Registration Report - Attendees", which will show members marked Attended for events.
- The report "Requirements - Incomplete Requirements - Current Year" will list members that have at least one incomplete requirement. The incomplete requirements are shown in the column Incomplete Requirements as a comma-delimited list. This could potentially be used for an email merge in MailChimp or other third-party email merge tool. Note, a new feature is in the works for building emails including incomplete requirements, but that will not be available until later this League year.
Server Maintenance
Additional server maintenance is required for the Member Essentials public websites. The public websites will be unavailable on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026 from 6pm to 12am Central Time. This will not effect the member portal. We will send a reminder as we get closer to that date.
