The League year is now underway, and so is a new season of improvements in Member Essentials. We're excited to introduce new features and enhancements designed to make managing your members easier, more efficient, and more intuitive than ever.

New Features and Updates 

• Email Merge Queries This feature will introduce a new type of query in the Query Tool - an Email Merge query. Leagues will be able to run a query and then build a custom email to Members which includes merge fields from the underlying query. You must have Query Administrator or Administrator access to send these types of emails. This can be used for: 
  • Dues balance reminders
  • Member requirement reminders
  • New placement announcements
    
    Take note, this feature will not support emails to non-members due to industry regulations and anti-spam laws. See Email Merge Tool / Email Merge Queries
    
    
• Account Flags - Account Flags serve as visual markers to identify accounts that meet certain criteria. They are ideal for highlighting key individuals, such as Members in leadership roles. Flags can also be associated with an existing access group or used to create a new access group, making them highly functional. This allows you to take targeted actions, such as emailing flagged Members or restricting access to specific content, shifts, forms, and more. To learn more:

• Position Assignment Improvements - The Position Manager tool has been redesigned with new filters to enhance the position assignment screen, including new functionality that allows assigning Members in bulk, regardless of whether they participated in the Placement Matching sign‑up process.
