Service Outage


On the evening of Tuesday, September 23rd, many Leagues experienced an outage of their public website and mobile app. This was caused by a service outage at the cloud provider hosting the sites. Technicians worked through the evening, and service was restored later that night.  The support team continues to monitor the situation.

Server Maintenance

On a similar subject, on Monday, November 10th, the cloud provider will be upgrading the Member Essentials servers.  This is a required upgrade to ensure the system's stability going forward. The upgrades will take place through the night but are expected to continue through the morning of November 10th. The Member Essentials portal and Junior League app will be unavailable on November 10th until 1PM Central Time. If you have events or shifts that morning and need to track attendance, please do the following:

  • On November 9th, print (or copy as a PDF) the Sign-In Sheet for the event. A Sign-In Sheet is available from the Attendance Manager under Reports.
  • Use the Sign-In Sheet to track attendance
  • After the event, use the Attendance Manager to enter attendance

We will send out additional reminders as we approach November 10th.

Improved Financial Data and Reporting

The team has been working hard to improve the accuracy and completeness of financial screens and reports.  Here is an update.  

  • Over the summer, Digital Cheetah built upgrades to allow more data to flow from League Stripe accounts to Member Essentials. This allows reports and screens to display more information, specifically regarding payment plans, recurring payments, and make-up payments following a credit card failure.  
  • Starting next week, the Reconcile tab in Stripe Admin will be replaced with a Reports tab.  The Reports tab will contain financial reports useful for financial reconciliation.  Instead of just one Reconcile report, there will be different reports to provide various data helpful for reconciliation and financial tracking. The new reports will contain all payment plan payments, annual renewal payments, and make-up payments. 
  • In the November 2025 updates to the Member Essentials platform, most of the screens showing financial information will be upgraded to include the additional data.  This includes:
    • Dues fragments in the member profile
    • Financial transactions fragment in the member profile
    • Dues Management > Dues Collection
    • Dues Management > Dues Transactions
    • Order Management
