Send text messages from events in the Registration Tool through the Attendance Manager. 


Required Access: 

You will need the SMS Administrator or Administrator access level


Where to go:

Select Admin > Member Management > Registration Tool Manager


Steps to be taken:

  1. To enable SMS, go to the setup of the calendar > General and set Allow SMS to Yes.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to save your settings.
  3. Click on Manage next to the registration tool.
  4. Find your event and below the Attendees column, click on the people icon to see the attendance page.
  5. Find SMS where there will be options to send a message based on their registration status.
  6. On the next page, select the names to those you want to send a message to and click Continue.
  7. Below SMS Message Body, enter the message you want to send.
  8. You have the option to check CC Me on Message.
  9. Click Send Message, which will send the SMS to your recipients.
     

To confirm that it was sent, you will see the following - Success: Your message has been sent. It can also be found from your record in Admin Profile > Notes & Communications > SMS Sent History.
