Send text messages from events in the Registration Tool through the Attendance Manager.
Required Access:
You will need the SMS Administrator or Administrator access level
Where to go:
Select Admin > Member Management > Registration Tool Manager
Steps to be taken:
- To enable SMS, go to the setup of the calendar > General and set Allow SMS to Yes.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to save your settings.
- Click on Manage next to the registration tool.
- Find your event and below the Attendees column, click on the people icon to see the attendance page.
- Find SMS where there will be options to send a message based on their registration status.
- On the next page, select the names to those you want to send a message to and click Continue.
- Below SMS Message Body, enter the message you want to send.
- You have the option to check CC Me on Message.
- Click Send Message, which will send the SMS to your recipients.
To confirm that it was sent, you will see the following - Success: Your message has been sent. It can also be found from your record in Admin Profile > Notes & Communications > SMS Sent History.
