We hope your New Year is off to a productive start! Here is the latest on new features available in Member Essentials Plus, as well as other important information to be aware of.


New Features

  • Credit Card Fee Donation - With this feature, your customers will see an option on all purchase check-out screens, allowing them to add a donation to the order to cover the League's credit card processing fees. Please see this article for instructions, including how to activate the feature for your League: Credit Card Fee Donation Feature

  • Access Group and GroupShare Refresh League Administrators can now refresh their access groups and GroupShares directly, instead of waiting for an overnight sync. These options are available in the Access Group Manager tool. 

  • Updates to the Member Directory - Additional fields and filters will be available such as:
    • Ability to display Status Type instead of Status Name. There are two new Directory Field Options to configure these. See the article > Customizing the Member Directory

    • Ability to display the name pronunciation field. Members have the ability to include a name pronunciation in their member profile. This can be found in the Demographic Information section of the profile. The field can be displayed in the Member Directory and there is a new Directory Field Option for this field. See the article > Customizing the Member Directory

    • New search fields of the Member Directory allow searching by either current placements or past placements. 

    • The display of the placement history has been redesigned to show placements chronologically. 

  • Organization Manager -  Also known as Agency, this is a tool that can be used to track your contacts and activities with outside organizations, community partners, and agencies, as well as funding and volunteer requests from those organizations. We are beginning to roll this out to Leagues. If you do not yet see the Organization Manager tool in Member Management, please notify [email protected].   • Allow dues adjustments to be added to payment plans - This is used in the case where you have canceled a member's payment plan, and she has paid the remainder of her dues through some other means. 


Collecting Dues for 2025-2026

  • Please refer to the article Dues Management Step by Step for instructions on setting up dues for 2025-2026. Take note, once you switch your dues system to 2025-2026, you can no longer collect dues for 2024-2025 through the Dues Management system. There are workarounds for this, including the Simple Store or using Dues Add-ons.
  • Please schedule a support session if you need assistance in setting up dues. If you set up dues yourself, and would like the support team to review your setup before launching, please send a request to [email protected]
