Learn how to use the tools and functions of the Tool and how to find what you need.

Administrative Queue: Member Progress

On the Administrative Queue, you will find:

  • The list of Members who have accessed the tool
  • Next to each Member’s name, her selections and completion progress
  • Sort or filter by column heading. Use the three icons to:
  1. Refresh the queue
  2. Clear all the filters that you may have set
  3. Delete a Member’s placement process from the queue: Select the checkbox to the left of the Member’s placement work to delete the Member’s activity data and her name from the queue (cannot be undone). Note: This removes the Member’s data only from the Placement Tool, not your database.

Administrative Queue: All Functions

On the left side of the screen, there are an additional nine icons that take you to all tools in the system:

  1. Year-to-Manage Drop-down: Toggle to set the drop-down to the year on which you are working.
  2. Settings: Click to set Member Access and Year-specific configurations.
  3. Placement Configuration: Click to open the configuration page to tag, add or edit descriptions, and update placements.
  4. Import Placements: For Leagues using the Tool for the first time, AJLI will assist with importing your placements. In Years 2+, use this button to initiate a bulk import of any significant changes to placements. See section V for more details about adding placements.
  5. Mass Email Function: Create messages for Members to receive about the Placement process; configure From Name, From Email, Reply To, and Subject.
  6. Reports: Click to view reports on your League’s placement activities. See section XI for descriptions of each report.
  7. Sync placements: Placements added to either Placement Manager (DC Leagues) or Position Manager (ME Leagues) sync automatically overnight to the Placement Matching Tool. If you need a more immediate sync, this icon forces the sync within approximately 10 minutes.
  8. Question Bank: Click to view and edit questions you will ask Members to answer online in Placement Matching Mode.
  9. Placement Catalog: Click to open the Placement catalog and preview as Members will view it. Right-click to copy this link to send to Members or place on your website.
