Creating and Managing Group Leader Notebook Entries

The group leader notebook provides a place in a GroupShare group where the group’s Leaders can communicate with one another outside of the view of the group’s members.  Group events appear there by default, and you can add entries among your Leaders. Group members cannot see the Notebook tab, even when it is visible to group Leaders. The notebook is an option that you can turn on or off at the site’s configuration settings. By default, it is activated.

Steps to be Taken:

  1. Find your GroupShare group by going to My Groups.
  2. Click on Notebook.
  3. To create a new entry, click New Item or edit an existing note.
  4. Choose a date when the entry was created for Note Date.
  5. Make Item Sticky? keeps the note at the top of the list.
  6. Enter your note for other Leaders in Note Text.
  7. You also have the option to upload a file in Note File.
  8. Save your note.
