This article will walk you through how to set up hybrid events and meetings at the Registration Tool level.


Required access:
You will need the Registration Administrator or Administrator access level.


How to get there:

  • From the Member Portal, go to Admin > Member Management
  • Select Registration Tool Manager
  • Click Setup next to the Registration Tool you would like to configure


Steps to be taken:

  1. Find the Advanced - Self Check In section
  2. Set Allow Self Check In via Mobile App to Yes
  3. Make sure the GPS is turned off for Self Check in to allow hybrid events by setting Require GPS or Beacon Verification When Checking In? to No 
  4. Also, make sure Require GPS or Beacon Verification When Checking Out? is set to No.
  5. Also, set Allow Unregistered Members Check In? to Yes
  6. When you add events and meetings to this Registration Tool, you will allow Members to check themselves in virtually. Members who attend events in person can also check themselves in. 


Take note, the time zone has to be set for the Zoom links to work in Setup > General > Select Time Zone.
