Mailchimp manages your Membership via TAGS, not Audience.


With the update to the Mailchimp sync from Member Essentials, you should be sending email campaigns to Mailchimp Tags to ensure you are getting your active list of correct members.   


Access Groups from Member Essentials may appear in Mailchimp as tags. 


This can be found in Admin > Member Managemen> CRM Sync. Select Manage Access Groups or Manage Statuses


Then, check the access groups or status you want to use and click Save changes.  The selected items will appear as Tags in Mailchimp.


There a a number of tags available, which are automatically created and managed by the system.


In Mailchimp, you can find the All Members access group displayed under Tags. Then, you can send emails to the tags such as All Members.

Then, select your audience and select a tag like All Members. This will select all Active members with an AJLI ID.
