Public Events to Wordpress
Member Essentials Plus with Deluxe Website images of any size in Public Sync events get cropped to 1140 x 680 in order to accommodate all the places they are used. Wordpress scales the event image horizontally to the required width and crops vertically from the center, so we recommend leaving extra space around elements that you want visible on the Wordpress event detail page. Also, note that the image has an overlay (approx. 460 x 123px) that will obscure the bottom left corner of the image, see below:
Word Press Site Default Overlap
Overlap of Event Date is intentional, but can be removed for a particular event using the Additional CSS area of the Customizer. If you'd like to remove that overlap again, Niko should be able to replicate what we've done there by grabbing the post ID and targeting that element. The below CSS is what we used:
