When GroupShare is activated, you also have the ability to activate a League-wide file share, called File Manager. This can be used to distribute documents to your members, including Meeting Minutes, Agendas, PDF forms, etc. The File Manager is an alternative to posting these documents on MY LEAGUE content pages. The File Manager will appear as the first choice under MY LEAGUE. 


File Administrators can post files, and all members can download files. They can also link to web documents (i.e. Google Docs) Manager. See the images below for examples.



Required Access:

You must be a File Administrator or Administrator 


Take note, the File Manager is only available to Leagues using Member Essentials Plus.


Where to go:

  1. From the Member Portal homepage, go to Admin > Member Management
  2. Find Member Content
  3. On the bottom of the page, click Add New to add a content page.
  4. Next to the Page Title and Navigation Title, enter "File Manager"
  5. Choose No next to Set Is Hidden
  6. To display this link to all members, set Allow Access To dropdown to Everyone
  7. Choose *Internal/External Link URL next to Page Type and the dropdown will appear to enter a link.
  8. Next to *Internal/External Link URL, enter this link: https://vms.ajli.org/?nd=vms_api_jump&api_tool=FileManager&api_key=None
  9. Submit your changes.
