This article will go over how to upload a collaborative sharing link your GroupShare Files. This will provide a direct link to outside share files such as Google Docs and SharePoint. 


Required Access:

You must be a Leader or Member of a GroupShare group to upload a share link.


Where to Go: 


To upload a collaborative sharing link to the GroupShare Files, follow these steps: 

  1. From your Member Portal homepage, hover over the My Groups link
  2. Click the name of the group you'd like to access the files for
  3. Find the Files icon.
  4. At the top right, click Add
  5. From here, you can first click New Folder to add a new folder if needed.
  6. Then, you can click New Share Link to add an external link to an outside collaborative share file.
  7. Next, you will add a File Name
  8. Copy and paste the share link or URL under Link (for example, a link to a Google Doc or a SharePoint Document)

  10. Click Create to upload the link.
