This article will discuss the new QR code scanning functionality within Self Check-In and describe how to check registrants in as an administrator.
A new feature has been added to Self Check-In which allows your administrators and coordinators to check your members into events using just a QR code and your smartphone's camera. No additional hardware is required!
Accessing QR Scanning within Self Check-In
You will need Registration Administrator access or Coordinator access.
To get to the QR Scanning / Mobile Attendance Tracking options, follow these steps:
- With the appropriate access, open Junior League mobile app.
- Select Attendance Manager from the menu options.
Scanning a QR Code
To scan a member's QR code, follow these steps:
- Tap the name of the event/shift you're checking registrants into and select Scan from the popup, or swipe from right to left on the event you're checking registrants into and select Scan.
- Have the registrant pull up their QR code via the Junior League mobile app by opening the menu and selecting Membership Card.
- If the registrant does not have one of the mobile apps, have them pull up the QR code they were sent via email or text.
- Hover your phone over the QR code they've pulled up.
- Once you've successfully scanned them in, you'll see a Success screen.
